Azul Airline decorates one of its jets with images of the Spix’s macaw

Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras (Azul Brazilian Airways or simply Azul) is a Brazilian carrier based in Barureri, a suburb if São Paulo.The airline was named Azul (Portuguese for "blue") after a naming contest in 2008. It began service on 15th December 2008. It is now the third largest domestic airline and second largest international airline in Brazil.

It has decorated one of its aircraft with some  images of the Spix’s Macaw to provide support for the re-introduction project set up recently for the species.
