Native trees planted on burned pasture land
Neiva Guedes recently visited the imposing mountain range in the centre of the Pantanal and discovered some of the burned pasture land had been replaced with native trees such as manduvi, acuri and bocaiuvia. She reported this with some photographs on her Facebook page. I compiled a short article based on the information and sent it to Parrots magazine It has now been published in the March 2021 issue. You can view the page under Content on the "Pantanal and its future" section.
Her discovery was reported on the news page at th end of December 2020
