Kleiner blauer Arara - Englisch: Glaucous macaw. - Französisch: Ara gris-bleu.

Grünlich graublau. Nackter Augenkreis und nackter Fleck am Unterschnabel gelb. Schnabel schwarz mit heller Spitze. Füsse schwarz. Auge dunkelbraun.

Das Weibchen gleicht dem Männchen, wie bei allen Araras.

Der Blauarara bewohnt das südliche Brasilien, Paraguay und Uruguay.
