Mark Stafford and his wife are enthusiastic aviculturists in the USA and very active in conservation projects. They set up the Parrots International facebook page to keep interested people informed about the conservation projects they are involved in.
The Spix’s Macaw Re-introduction project is an excellent project despite concerns about the source of funding through the German-based ACTP. Cromwell Purchase heads an excellent team in Brazil involved in the operation of the re-introduction project.
