Use of species name Anodorhynchus

albeit slightly differently spelt, by K. LICHTENSTEIN in his Nomenclator Avium Musei Zoologici Berolinensis published in Berlin in 1854.

This slim volume lists all the scientific names of the avian specimens kept in the collection of the Royal University of Berlin at the time.

On Page 73 there appears two entries for the blue macaws as follows:-

Anodorynchus Spix. glaucus Süd Brasilien (southern Brazil) 2 (specimens) 

hyacinthinus Para 1 (specimen)
