A letter on the Spix's Macaw discovered recently in the USA from Gordon Cook, a well-known British importer and bird dealer in the 1970s and 1980s, which was published on the letters page ofcage & Aviary Birds last weekend, has now been posted to the news page. It had been speculated that the Spix's Macaw had been acquired from Mr. Cook. Now it is confirmed.
