It appears from the WWF website that £ 326,000 (approx. $US 640,000) was raised from the public by the Extinct programme. Half - £ 163,000 (approx. $US 320,000) - of this will go to tiger projects and the remainder will be divided up evenly between the other seven projects. So each will apparently receive just under £ 23,300 (approx. $US 45,700). Although not as much as hoped for by the programme makers, this additional funding will help the projects considerably.
