Delay on the repatriation of Lear's Macaws

The three confiscated Lear's Macaws have to wait again because Harry Sissen has applied for a judicial review

Sadly the repatriation of the three confiscated Lear's Macaws to Brazil has been delayed yet again because Harry Sissen has applied for a judicial review. This is like an audit of the conduct of the hearings involving him and the parrots confiscated by HM Customs & Excise in 1998. Although it has been proven that the Lear's Macaws were illegally acquired they were confiscated along with some 140 other parrots, which Harry has been trying to recover, and are thus caught up in the procedure. More news on whether his application is approved soon.
