Neiva Guedes recieve an international award

Neiva Guedes, founder of the Projeto Arara Azul in the Pantanal is in the Netherlands today receiving the Order of the Golden Ark from Prince Bernhard at the Soestdijk Palace. This international award was set up in 1971 and since then some 350 scientists and conservationists have received this award, which is for outstanding achievement in the conservation of the planet's wildlife. Neiva is the first Brazilian to be given this honour and is to be congratulated for it. Parabems Neiva!!
