The Sissen case grinds remorselessly on. HM Customs & Excise has decided to appeal against the decision last November in the Magistrates’ Court to return 100 of the 144 parrots confiscated to Harry Sissen. The appeal will be heard by the judge who jailed Harry more than two years ago for the illegal importation of three Lear’s Macaws and six Blue-headed Macaws.
