Global Rural TV in Brazil has just broadcast an excellent 15 minute programme on the Lear's Macaw in Bahia, including some marvellous footage of the macaws, explaining the problems of conservation, the importance of the licuri palm to both the macaws and the local people, and the maize compensation scheme.
